1. E and I is the shape of the magnetic core.
EE is the magnetic circuit formed by two E-type magnetic cores.
Similarly, EI is the magnetic circuit formed by E-type and I-type magnetic cores.
EC is a magnetic circuit composed of E-type and C-type magnetic cores.

2. Transformers include EI, EE, ER, ERL, ETD, RM, PQ and other type cores.

Characteristics and scope of application:
(1) EI and EE transformers have the characteristics of wide application range, high working frequency, wide working voltage range, high output power and high thermal stability.Widely used in program-controlled switchboard power supply, LCD power supply, high-power UPS inverter power supply, computer power supply and various small electronic equipment and instruments.

(2) ER, ERL and ETD transformers have the characteristics of low loss, high output power, wide working frequency, low temperature rise and stable performance. They are widely used in program-controlled switches, color TV power supply, display power supply, computer switching power supply, precision instrument and equipment power supply and DVD power supply.

(3) RM, PQ and other transformers have the characteristics of small magnetic leakage, low loss and small distributed capacitance, which are widely used in communication switching power supply.
